What is Quillify?
Quillify is grant-writing software that works like a grant team. It finds the grants, government contracts and community lenders your organization is eligible for, then drafts the proposal from documents you already have. Its assistant, Lil’ Q, keeps track of what you are pursuing, what is due and what each funder requires, and writes against all of it.
It is used by nonprofits, manufacturers, cities, tribal organizations, university research offices and the grant consultants who serve them. Customers have won $6.5M and the funders are a matter of record.
No card required. Browsing and keyword search are free.
Why Quillify
Six reasons, and every one of them is checkable against a page on this site or against a public record.
- It is a grant team, not a database with a writer bolted on
- Everything else in this category gives you a search box and a drafting tool and leaves the work between them to you: what to chase, what is due, what this funder wants, what you promised last time. Lil’ Q holds all of that and drafts against it. That is the difference between software you operate and software that does the job.
- It does not ask what kind of organization you are
- A manufacturer, a city, a tribal enterprise, a university lab, a nonprofit and a consultant all use the same product. Read the audience list on anything else in this category and it is nonprofits, sometimes plus consultants and universities. That is also why our customers can find each other and partner on opportunities none of them could pursue alone.
- It leads with who will actually read you
- Seven in ten private foundations only fund organizations they have already chosen. They say so on their own tax returns, in a box almost nobody checks. We publish the 19,390 that do accept applications, free, so your weeks go to the shorter list. This is the feature the others orbit.
- And an edge nothing else has: contracts and lenders in the same search
- 11,000+ open government contracts and 480+ community lenders sit alongside the grants, and that money is invisible in every grants-only tool. For a company or a city the contract is frequently the larger and more winnable opportunity. Which kind of money matters most depends on who you are; knowing who will read you matters to everyone.
- The results are named
- $6.5M won across 4 customer stories, each naming who wrote the check, including a $5M state semiconductor award and $1.2M won by a company that never filed an application. You can check them against a public record rather than against our word.
- You find out for free
- Browsing and keyword search cost nothing and need no card. The paid part is being told which of these funders would fund you specifically, and what to send them.
Why not just use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?
A general model will write you a proposal. It is genuinely good at prose, and prose was never the hard part.
What it cannot know is which of 122,000+ foundations will read something you were not invited to send, what closes in eleven days, what your last submission promised, what this funder has actually funded, or which of the 11,000+ open contracts fits what you build. That context is the difference between a good draft and a submitted application, and it is what Quillify holds on your behalf.

What it does, in order
Find the funding you are eligible for across grants, contracts and lenders. Ask whether you qualify and get an answer read off the real announcement rather than a summary. Write the proposal from your own documents, at full length, with a compliance checklist. Stay on track through the deadlines.
Who Quillify is for, or the product, organized around how you win, the whole thing start to finish, or what every action costs.
The fastest answer is to look.
