Frequently Asked Questions

For AI grant discovery, Quillify uses proprietary machine learning algorithms to identify project-solicitation matches and create a shortlist of opportunities for you.

For AI grant writing, Quillify uses Anthropic’s Claude to generate the entire first draft and help you iterate. This choice of LLM ensures the best experience for you while preserving your security.

Without Quillify, the average grant seeker will spend 3-12 days at a time searching for good fit funding opportunities. With Quillify, users find good fit funding opportunities within one hour. Ongoing, users find opportunities without additional effort because of our AI monitoring and alerts.

Without Quillify, the average grant seeker will spend 250 hours or more writing federal grant proposals. With Quillify, users have reported completing federal grant proposals within 50 hours.

We have a variety of grants at the federal, state, and foundational levels across industries. Please view some of our grant distribution data visualizations here or see the high level below.

Quillify’s system effectively identifies research and development grants, capital grants (e.g. playground equipment), and programmatic grants for events and activities.

Grants that are demographic focused or catch-alls are not easily found by Quillify’s AI.

While this is an appropriate question for consultants, it is not well formed for Quillify. Quillify is a time-saving tool for pre-award services, boasting 75%-96% efficiency gains on finding and writing grants and government contracts. We do not track the success of our users’ applications as the submissions and award determinations are done through funder portals.

A 3-figure investment into Quillify will return up to 5-figures in savings on labor and potentially get you 8-figures or more on awarded funding.

We would love to work with you to help get the right people applying to your solicitation. For grant-makers, you can add your grant to Quillify for free by going to https://grants.quillify.ai/newGrant

Or if you want to do a closed search for projects that are mission-aligned and RFP those organizations, contact us and we’ll verify your grant-maker status and help you do a project search. Everyone that shows up has indicated their desire to be funder discoverable.

Common Prompting Mistakes

Winning solicitations declare what they are doing and what the expected outcomes will be as a result of the award. Their pitch does not include what you think you need (furniture, salaries, dev team, etc). Similarly, when you prompt Quillify to find grants for your project, be specific and verbose. Help Quillify’s AI understand your mission, project, and the awesome outcomes post-award. This will help Quillify find those grants which will fund you on your mission.

Prompts that do not yield great results are short and vague, giving no insight into your niche nor mission. For example, “open a shop“, “grants for startups“, “software development“, and “big bucket for cows” are all prompts that will not help Quillify help you.

Reframe these prompts like so: “Hispanic bakery for poor, immigrant neighborhood“, “Early-stage startup support organization, focusing on STEM startups among youth“, “Generative AI platform for grant acquisition“, and “Feeding trough for large-herd ranchers, reducing waste, and helping farmers scale” would yield high quality results.

The more keywords and context you can give Quillify, the better the results will be.
